update

a lot happend the last weeks, the contract off the bakkeryschop is off. In the proces some things came up witch where not so correct. After seeing the real owner off the building, it seems that there whas a planning to take the building down in 3 years and rebuild it completely new. There whas no garanty to keep the renting contract in the future and the rent would go up with triple the ammount. During the works we would lose income for at least 1 year or more. This whas a blow we didnt expect to come. And for the weeks after ,we lost some orientation . The same time some struggels started arround us in relationships, where we have no hand in it. For us the most important is to keep and stay in peace. When there is no vision or desorientation, the only thing we can do is pray and listen what the spirit is saying. At the same time we experience conversations that end up with the testimony of God working in us and arround us. We could allmost pray for a woman off 44 that whas very sick off cancer to the liver, she is as good as dead. Here friend didnt allow us to pray for her, so this whas a missed oportunity. Because this would be a stretcher , if God raise from the dead, why he would not heal some allmost dead? Shame ,because i felt like a rocket taking off. Or neighbour is becoming a closer and closer friend, he gave us his keys off his appartment in salamanca so we would not pay hotels all the time, and he gave us the keys off his campingcar in portugal if we need some time out. This is a brand new campingcar on a camping with swimmingpool , river, peace, just to good . We thank God for all this blessings through this friend. This year we would like to go to california, visit san fransisco and visit bethel church in redding. If we have time we would like to visit some breeders off arabians SE horses as well. When we listen to every week sermons off bethel church on the internet, the experience there seems so natural, that i ask myself where we miss the ball. I know its dangerous to look at others experience, and not ending up confused. But i remember the first time we whent to toronto, we had no idee. And What have changed since that day, amazing. 1corinthe1:7 says that we need every gift for the revelation off jesus and thats the only motivation for increase in us and the peopel we connect with. Today, we talkt that we need to go for the things we love , or passions. If it whas not for the money , what would we do. Where would we go after. It feels like a invitation! This morning i recived a prophecy, that God asks us if we whant to go in the river or not. The choice is up to us, this night i had a dream. And felt somebody talking to me , he says that we need to go deeper in The voice off the spirit. It told me this whas only the outher level, some insights, some guiding some experience. But he whants me to be more aware for daily and concrete stuff and faster reaction. So 3 times in a differant form, this is GOD. So i take the invitation for real, and i say yes lord we whant your river. We whant to go deeper whatever it takes ,and where ever it leads us. Again............................

GOD IS GOOD

Today was a miracel. All went wrong with the new bakkeryshop, we lost the phonenumber off the owner, his neighbours did not know his adres our phonenr ,and this whent on for days.
We where whaiting fot them to call and vice versa. So in the confussion they gave up and made a rendezvous with new peopel. They had a appointment this noon and where whaiting in the shop. At the same time we where driving to salamanca to place a paper with or phone nr on the window so they could call us. And to everybodys suprise we all meet togheter before the appointment of the other man. It whas so funny to hear each others story. And in the end we got the contract. Oephhhhh!!!!!!!! It isnt coming over just telling it, you havent seen the struggel, the praying, hearing God it whas done and the natural saying the opposite. It whas a matter off 5 minutes and we would have lost the contract. we where full off conffusion and all ready giving up, in the car we where praying , worshiping God as allways. And the closer we got to salamanca the better we felt, littel did we know Gods suprise. HE IS GOOD to ALL. He allways care. He allways provide and if not he has better in store. Be blessed.

salamanca day out

Yesterday, we went out for the day with José, his daughter and Pepe. We had a really good time together. Pepe asked me about Regina’s health and I told him our story of her healing at the conference in Toronto three years ago. I thought I would tell it just the way it was. He was very enthusiastic, and José was too. They began telling their own stories of how they experienced God in their lives. We had a good laugh together! Again, we see the confrontation of the institutionalized church with all its different streams and the religiosity that puts people off. We heard it again from them. My Spanish and Portuguese is still not good enough for me to tell you everything they said, but I experienced an openness and freedom that was in itself a real joy. Pepe was a journalist and knows a lot. He takes us to hotels, parks, restaurants and always has a story to tell. It’s very entertaining.

Salamanca is also worth visiting. There is much more than first meets the eye. The farms and estates are very large, hundreds of hectares. Many in Spain and Portugal are neglected and forlorn. It is Regina’s dream to have a big farm, with animals and then take in several children so can live together as one big family. It would be a good place to keep the horses.

José was telling me that he knows someone who trained horses for the bullfights and he’s looking for work. He also wanted to know if I could train 5 horses in any discipline: show, dressage or long distance. I can see that happening in the future. His family has hundreds of hectares of land with cows and the horses would be just fine there. It could be fun!

Oma has decided to foster another child so that Jeffrey will have a companion who speaks Flemish. Learning Portuguese is proving to be difficult for him. He feels left out in school.

update

We’re back in Portugal and need to get back into the ‘flow’ of things.
We were tired and it took three days for us to start to have the feeling that we have processed everything.
The conference was good but difficult this year, confrontation with yourself is not always pleasant, but let’s be real with ourselves and not pretend that we can handle everything.
Tomorrow we go to Salamanca and continue negotiations concerning the bakery. Our friends fear that we have been away just a little too long and the business will already be sold. However there are so many empty places in the vicinity that we will just continue to look for another. José is taking us to see a large new shopping center in Salamanca to see if there isn’t anything there.
Everything we undertake will be blessed!! My greatest desire is yet to have a good ‘frietkot’. We can make that happen.
Meanwhile, the cherries are ripe here in Portugal and we can’t eat them fast enough… mmmm, so good!
